The ownership of a log home brings with it some particular joys. Some would say that a few headaches are to be expected along with the joys. When you experience the headaches is the time when you need service and advice. What I am referring to here is the possible invasion by wood destroying insects or fungi. Both are causes for alarm. Both can be entirely avoided if your builder and designer are doing their jobs properly from the start.
