No Excuses. This is a tough policy to maintain. The way to do it is to be on the job daily; tracking progress as measured against carefully formulated plans. Make no pledges you cannot keep. Know what you are capable of as a crew before you start. Know the job really well. Be experienced with all weather working conditions. Be able and keen to go the distance as required by the job and the changing conditions. Adapt efforts to accommodate changing conditions. Maintain a Policy of No Excuses.
